WisconsinHealth experts are saying that if a law in Wisconsin is repeled it could lead to an increase of sexually transmitted infections in Winnebago County and across the state.

Department of Health data shows that STIs in Wisconsin increased by 32% from 2000 to 2009. A majority of these cases are found in young people between 15 and 24 year old.

These types of sex education programs target a younger audience and if they are discontinued a lot of youth will be affected by STIs.

It is imported for people looking for STD testing in Wisconsin to contact their local health department if they think they have been infected with a STD. There are also private companies that provide STI testing with more better customer service and faster result times.

STIs have also increased nationwide over the past decade.
